Disability Awareness

The Disability Awareness Program began in 1999 to help dispel perceptions others may have of people living with disabilities. Not only those disabilities that are visible, but those not seen on the surface. This program was designed for grades Pre K thru 8th, and encompasses curriculum specific to each grade level. The full program teaches the students about a myriad of disabilities.

After bringing this program under the Joseph Maley Foundation we continue to be in awe of the talented teachers and volunteers that help us facilitate an atmosphere of acceptance. As we foster this in the children that take part in our program we know that the spirit of Joseph’s legacy will continue.
