Kids on the Block

The Kids On the Block Program is a unique way to teach awareness & acceptance of all others with the help of child size puppets. Our first puppet troupe was comprised of 2 dozen 8th graders. After extensive training in the effective use of these puppets, our first troupe hosted puppet shows and Q&A sessions to teach Pre K thru 3rd graders during our 2010 Disability Awareness Program.

Currently, the Joseph Maley Foundation supports the following curriculum:

  • Learning Disabilities
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Hearing Impairments
  • Visual Impairments
