One of Joseph's favorite past times was playing with string. It has also been said that Joseph was the "string" that kept others connected and "tied" together with a common thread of grace and understanding of others.
Through this program JMF provides an opportunity to serve others through knitting or crocheting. We invite you to use your skills to create caps, scarves, lap blankets, and baby blankets for local hospitals. For more details, fill out the information below or visit our partner, the Village Yarn Shop, 40 North Main Street, Zionsville, Indiana (also one of our drop off sites for JMF projects).
Strings and Sticks also provides lessons and materials at local schools and children's hospitals to teach adults and children alike to use their creative skills as an avenue of service. If you would like to provide a knit bag, complete with yarn, needles, patterns, and tags for this part of our program, simply press the donate button on this screen. Every $15 donated will provide a complete bag (the Village Yarn Shop also accepts donations for these complete bags).
