We welcome new staff, celebrate the 10th Annual Run, Walk, Roll and highlight the Joseph Maley Foundation on television in July!
Each July, the Joseph Maley Foundation community gathers to support children of all abilities at our annual Run, Walk, Roll. Whether you enjoy the on-field activities with your family, or test your skills on the course, the event engages individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. This year offers an added layer of excitement, as the Joseph Maley Foundation celebrates ten years of impact in 2018.
Gregg DeLong will run with the Joseph Maley Foundation for the third time on July 14, 2018. While he enjoys the art of running, Gregg also appreciates the community he found when he began running regularly. After competing in more than 200 races since 2014, one of his favorites is still the JMF Run, Walk, Roll.
Professional runner Anna Weber shares her love of running and why she participates in the Joseph Maley Foundation Run, Walk, Roll in this week’s blog post. Anna also serves on JMF’s event committee this year, offering her unique perspective as a professional runner.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and has special significance for the Joseph Maley Foundation HOPE program. HOPE – Health through Outreach, Personal Perspectives and Engagement- engages individuals in valuable discussion and activities surrounding mental health. The program was created to change the way our community talks about this important topic, reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.
