SUMMARY:Run\, Walk\, Roll Race Series: Road Mile
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 16th annual Run\, Walk\, Roll Race Series – featuring our Road Mile and 5k! \nOur Road Mile provides a family-friendly evening race for participants of all ages and abilities. Held at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School\, this fast\, flat course is the perfect place to score your next PR! \nProceeds from the event support Joseph Maley Foundation and our mission to celebrate differences and cultivate an inclusive community through education and service of youth in Greater Indianapolis. \nThe event will proceed rain or shine\, but for thunder or lightning will follow IHSAA protocols for safety of volunteers and participants. \nREGISTER HERE\n\nDAY-OF EVENT DETAILS:\n\nLOCATION: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School\, 2801 West 86th St\, Indy \nPARKING: Plentiful free parking in the lot on the northeast side of school\n \nTIME:  \n\n7:15 – 7:45 PM – On-site registration/bib pick-up\n7:58 PM – National Anthem\n7:59 PM – Final runouts\n8:00 PM – Single heat start (elites\, runners\, joggers\, walkers\, etc.)\n\n\nCOURSE: Net downhill. Road portion starts near tennis courts in parking lot\, winds by soccer field\, then west around school by XC course and baseball diamond to track entrance – all paved. Last 500ish on track. \nFACILITIES: Modern bathrooms open near track \nREFRESHMENTS: Water\, cold-treats from JP’s Frozen Scoops (available for purchase)\n \nWEATHER UPDATES: Forecast looks clear\, but watch our social media for any afternoon updates if thunderstorms are present. If thunder or lightning at event\, 30-minute rule is invoked with start delayed at least 30 minutes from last thunder or lightning.\n \nMISC: Please spread the word. We have room for more walkers\, joggers\, runners\, and rollers.
